One of the big statements that stands in the way of many people changing career is “yes, but I don’t know what I want to do” which is why I have put together what I believe are the 7 key questions to career change.
I have to admit that I wish I had known about these a lot sooner as at various times in my life I have known that I was not in the right job but had no idea what direction to take or how to find out. Then yesterday, at a networking event in Amsterdam, I was introduced to someone who was in that exact position – she had a job, her company really needed her but she had this niggling feeling that it was not what she wanted to do long term; if only she could find her calling.
This is what inspired me to put together this months issue of my Inspirational Toolkit, issue 21 – career change the 7 key questions
I hope that you take the time required to answer these questions. They are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to figuring out what it is that you want to do but by answering them honestly, you will be taking a giant leap forward.
