LinkedIn plays an integral part in your career success yet few people are actually making the best use if it. There are many who set up a profile on LinkedIn and connect with a few people and believe that is enough. Unfortunately it’s not!

- The hidden job market – through LinkedIn there are numerous ways of tapping into the hidden job market. By networking and being perceived as an expert in your field, you have a better chance of being approached or told about vacancies before they are advertised which means that you may not have to compete with so many applicants. This is why it is really important to have a complete professional profile that highlights your strengths and achievements so that recruiters and head-hunters can find you. If you can confidently showcase your talents and experience, the chances are that you will get approached about job vacancies even when you are not looking for a new job.
